Pemphigus and Pemphigoid

Pemphigus vulgaris and mucous membrane pemphigoid are systemic, autoimmune disorders that result in multiple, chronic, generally non-healing ulcers on the skin and oral mucosa (lining of the oral cavity).

Some forms can be life threatening, and all forms are quality-of-life threatening. If you have multiple, non-healing ulcers in the mouth or on the skin, you should be evaluated by a clinician qualified and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of mucosal and skin disorders.

Dr. Sirois is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Medicine and an internationally-recongized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of oral pemphigus and pemphigoid.
